General Turkish Language Courses
DİLMER offers Turkish language courses designed to help international students improve their Turkish language proficiency, adapt to academic and social life in Türkiye, and gain a deeper understanding of Turkish culture. The courses are conducted by experienced instructors specialized in teaching Turkish as a foreign language and aim to develop the four fundamental language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—in a balanced and integrated manner.
Course Content
- Courses at A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 levels in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR),
- Activities designed to improve listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills,
- Interactive lessons, group work, and technology-supported teaching methods,
- DİLMER-specific learning materials and educational activities,
- Learning opportunities enriched through cultural events and Speaking Club activities,
- Communication-oriented learning environments tailored to students’ needs and interests.

Learning Process
- Students’ Turkish language proficiency is assessed through a Placement Test and they are assigned to the appropriate level.
- The curriculum is designed in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
- Student progress is monitored through regular assessment and evaluation practices throughout each level.
- The learning experience is supported by complementary activities such as Academic Turkish courses, Speaking Clubs, and various cultural events.
Participation and Certification
Attendance is compulsory in all courses.
Students who successfully complete the program and meet the required performance criteria are awarded a Turkish Proficiency Certificate indicating their level of language competence.
